Enel 60, from electricity to electrification
A global campaign – multichannel and multitarget – for Enel’s 60th anniversary. An anniversary that celebrates the past, emphasizes the present and, above all, casts its gaze on the challenges of the future and the decade of electrification: “From electricity to electrification for people and Planet” is the concept that highlights the shift from electricity to electrification as a tool for progress.
Enel 60 initiatives are an opportunity to communicate commitment to strategic drivers and consolidate brand positioning and leadership.
A 60-year history of innovation
The activity that involved the agency to support the campaign was extensive and developed throughout 2022, with strategic solutions defined in close collaboration with the Group’s different branding and communication departments.
The first phase focused on defining the content strategy: strategic themes and storytelling on the one hand, and channels and touchpoints through which to convey them on the other.
Each decade of the company’s history is linked to a key theme, which becomes a narrative trigger for a broader thematic path that spans several decades, reaches up to today and casts its gaze to tomorrow, telling how the Enel Group has always been “anticipating the future.”
It is a 60-year history of innovation that started the production of a series of countless contents for the channels of Enel Holding, Enel Italia and the other business lines.
Another storytelling core is represented by a timeline, with an energy diary that traces Enel’s history from Dec. 6, 1962 to Dec. 6, 2022 through a creative reworking of documentation from the Historical Archives.
In addition to this, a series of cards interweaving the anniversaries of Enel’s history with the most important dates in the world of culture, sports, science, and lifestyle.
For 365 days we accompanied the Enel Group on a journey through its 21,915-day-long history. But – most importantly – we accompanied it in recounting how in its past and present are the roots for facing the challenges and changes of the future, the era of electrification, and the transformations of the energy system.
